I have been a bit quiet here lately, mostly because I have been doing a lot of crafting and cooking and contemplating. Contemplating things like this book, Printing By Hand by Lena Corwin. I fiercely debated my need for this book for some time, for many reasons. The main one being that memories of moving a billion boxes of books to the new house over the summer were painfully fresh and I had vowed never to buy another book again. In the end, however, I decided to go for it and I now know that it is not only completely necessary for me to stencil and paint my lampshades, it is also a very good idea.
